End of the 2010

Well... New Year's Eve, the end of 2010.
I am sure we are all hoping for something new, something better, and improvement or a change.
I hope that the new year will bring us all time to do the things we want to do. I am considering, though have not yet decided, to follow yarn harlotand begin my own sock of the month challenge. I have also taken up yoga- using the Wii balance board that we were generously given for christmas.
I know these all seem to be taking up time, not giving time- but I am trying to find more energy to play with the children and I think me time will help with this, a happier fitter me.
Oh... and I plan to resurrect the blog... something will give not sure which will happen first. Wish me luck :)

No pictures....yet!

As I find myself reading so many other blogs I feel it is only polite to get my own up and running, again. I began this blog when I was on maternity leave with DD no.2 and now I feel it is time that it is resurrected.
My reluctance to begin again has been due to the lack of camera that takes part decent pictures- this has not changed- but I decided it didn't matter, a camera will appear soon.
Christmas has been a good break, the sales have now begun. We attempted Southampton yesterday- Wow! After a car queue into Ikea was waited out, then the long trawl for a parking space. Once inside, children fed, and circular round made, we came to the debate- do we don't we! We chose... then I slipped into the bargain basement and lo and behold the table we wanted REDUCED. It was a bit dented, pencil marks all over and sticky residue from labels, however it was a bargain and I had to have it.
Now cleaned up it is sitting pride of place in the centre of my living room. I don't know how we managed with out it all this time :)

just a quick drop in

It is only 2 days until christmas. I have already had a week and a half off from work! - very little has been done around here. As always all the plans have shot out of the window and presents have been brought. Words from the wise- 'You do have a full time job and 2 children under 6', frustrating as it is they are right. I have got plans to make a few felt bowls maybe before the new year.

Now house has been cleaned for visitors, a new play date for the youngest. Wish me luck- and hopefully a regular return to bloggy land. I think I need to find a new focus. An update tomorrow with the knitting I am doing ( have done!).
